Samariá Gorge

Said to be one of the most picturesque national parks within Europe, the Samariá Gorge is abundant with flora and fauna. If you choose to enjoy the full hike, the terrain can be rocky so prepare with great footwear and allow for a 7 or 8 hour day to also take in the scenery. There are short and long versions of the hike so no matter your hiking ability you can enjoy visiting the Samariá Gorge.

The city of Chania is a centuries old city with such a rich and fascinating history. In prehistoric times, around 4.000B.C., during the Minoan civilization, the ancient city of Kydonia was one of the most important city/states of Crete and on its ruins, Chania Al Hanim was built, around the 9th B.C. -10th B.C., during the Arab occupation. To present day, Arabs, Venetians, Turks, Germans have all left their mark on this captivating city, and have left important architectural remnants to remind us their days of glory. Chania city with its unique Venetian Old harbor, the Egyptian Lighthouse, its serpentine alleys of the Old Town, the museums, the galleries, the cute cafes and restaurants, is a feast of the senses and a trigger for the mind.

Our hotel shuttle will transport you to our local orchard where we grow our historic Olive Trees. Here, you will get to taste 6 different local Cretan Wines. Our expert Sommelier will be there to guide you through the tasting, pairing each wine with a selection of hors d’oeuvres to perfectly complement the wine’s flavor profile.
Just a stone’s throw away from the tasting area, you will find our organic citrus orchard. We grow oranges, limes, grapefruits, pomegranates, and mandarins. The combination of high altitudes and warm sunshine creates a wonderful atmosphere for an afternoon of relaxed wine tasting.

Located in the region of Kissamos, 51km North West side of Chania this beautiful attraction is ideally an all day event for you. You need to take a ferry to the lagoon where you can experience the natural beauty and turquoise waters. A popular destination for locals and tourists, Balos can get busy in the summertime with a lively atmosphere.

Old Venetian Port of Chania

The Old Venetian Port of Chania is regarded as one of the most beautiful and historically significant landmarks in Crete. Most of the area has been restored to its former glory including Firkas Fortress and the Lighthouse which is a great sight to take in at sunset. Enjoy and explore the many eateries including cafes, bars then indulge in some retail therapy at the shops. This area is a tourist attraction and for good reason, it is one of the most iconic places in Crete and the atmosphere is out of this world. Find a waterfront spot to grab a drink or a meal and take in this once in a lifetime view.

Elafonissi Beach

With clear blue waters and rich pink sand this iconic beach is an attraction for locals and tourists alike. Sun beds and umbrellas are available to rent for your convenience. The water levels at Elafonissi Beach is known for shallow waters close to the shore and is a family friendly location in Crete. For people who love water sports you can visit the Kite Surfing center and indulge in some water sports like windsurfing, paddleboarding and kayaking.

Agii Apostoli Beach

Agii Apostoli is a coastal area, located four kilometers to the West from the city of Chania. It is equally popular to visitors as it is to locals because of its unique geographical features. The area of Agii Apostoli is well known for its three, shallow, sandy beaches created by two peninsulas. All three beaches are well organized with umbrellas – sun beds and cafes as well as a beach volley court. The park hosts a brand new playground, an outdoor fitness area, and a trail ideal for walking, jogging and cycling. Agii Apostoli is an ideal destination for outdoor activities and for families.

Thodorou Islet

The island of St. Theodore which locals refer to as “Thodorou”, was a sacred asylum during the Minoan Period while during the Venetian occupation, two fortresses were built as to prevent invasions of pirates and Turks whose ruin remain to this day. In recent years, Thodorou has been declared a protected area where human presence is prohibited. Its sole habitants are around 80 wild, indigenous goats named KriKri, and since 2009, short hourly visits for tourists, are allowed.
